The girls Washroom @Compassion Manipur Children’s Home is now complete with a good painting coat. It was inaugurated by our Founder and Father Dr. Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou in early October 2022. Our daughters have started using this new washroom and enjoy the benefits of good hygiene and safety. Another effort and task competed of our checklist. Appreciate the support of members who helped complete this for our children.
Sports is an integral part of development of every child. We scheduled a football camp at Compassion Manipur Childrens home where we had friends sponsoring the kits, uniform and the equipment for this activity. We made arrangements for our volunteer and certified licensed coach to run a week long activity for the children and also extended to do the camp for the children in the village around us as well. Everyone was very excited to be a part of this camp as they all learnt so many new things about football and got certified as well. Such ongoing efforts can bring out a change not only within our children's mindset but also for those members living around us.
Our children @Compassion Manipur children's home are educated to nurture the environment with planting samplings and have their own contribution towards protecting the environment. Plant samplings were put along the highway near our orphanage under proper supervision. A small step and contribution from their side towards humanity and to the environment. This is an ongoing activity every year as our children learn the importance of their contribution to the environment is a continuous and lifelong effort.
