Every child cannot be a star performer, a sports star or a singer. Some cannot be geniuses in education and become doctors and engineers as well. They need to be allowed to express themselves and allow to choose their are of interest and passion. We are very careful at Compassion Manipur Children’s Home for not making the same mistake most of us parents do. We need to allow them to blossom just as plants do, by nurturing them with care and lot of love. Identifying their areas of interest and passion is one way. We may not have the best of artist but when our children sketch they place their hearts and dreams out on paper. We are brought to tears at times as they showcase how different and artificial we have become when the simplest things in life give the greatest joy. Sponsor children and help us get them some good mentors who can guide them in various fields of arts and education to mentor them in the right direction.
