Our children of Compassion Manipur Children Home work together at our vegetable garden and are getting first hand experience of how to plant and nurture plants and vegetables. After few months they reap their efforts in the form of lovely organic food which they eat and stay healthy. Earlier this month we have reaped a lot of Beans, Bottle Gourd, Karelia and Pumpkins from our garden which ended up in our angel’s tummies. With Gods blessings the size of our vegetables is also huge as you can see in the picture where a group of our children our together holding up a bottle gourd of our garden. One such vegetable is enough for one meal for all of them. Our children are blessed to live and eat on organic food, keeping them strong and healthy. All this would not be possible without the guidance and nurturing of our mother Mrs Kimcha Sitlhou.
We Are Building A Strong Reputation
One of the greatest weaknesses in these global orphan estimates is that they include only orphans who are currently living in homes.

Foster Care – Fostering Hope
We Believe in the Wisdom of Mothers.
Mothers are often the primary caregivers and know what their families need most to succeed. Our programs are designed in true partnership with the mothers, encouraging them to participate in defining benefits and services for their children. There is no one that understand a child more than a mother. How a mother fights for a child for its protection, provision and care, is well known and needs no desciption. Hereby at Compassion Manipur Children’s Home there is no difference. Every child is treated with the love, care and attention that they need.
We Believe in Strong Families.
Unbound sponsorship goes beyond distributing material goods and empowers families to become self-sufficient. Families—those with both parents in the home and those headed by one parent or a guardian—are the pillars of a strong, supportive community. We are looking for parents who are willing to take a step to support our children by sponsorship so they can get an equal chance in the society amongst other children. We at Compassion Manipur are dedicated to the upliftment of each child, and just seek your support to see it through.

Prayer Before Everything
Our children @ Compassion Manipur Children’s Home all geared up to go to school together. Before they leave the campus every day to go to school they all spend a few minutes in prayer humbling themselves in front of our sovereign God. We educate our children to start each day with putting faith and trust in God so that they grow up with good positive guidance.
New Washroom for Girls (Hygeine is Important)
The girls Washroom @Compassion Manipur Children’s Home is now complete with a good painting coat. It was inaugurated by our Founder and Father Dr. Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou in early October 2022. Our daughters have started using this new washroom and enjoy the benefits of good hygiene and safety. Another effort and task competed of our checklist. Appreciate the support of members who helped complete this for our children.

Leadership Team
Founder Rev. Dr. Vumthang Sitlhou and his wife Mrs Kimcha Sithlou (Father & Mother to the Orphans) have been dedicated to the service of the lost and orphans since 16 years now. With the vision of saving children from drugs, sex abuse, slavery, lack of education and nutrition they established Compassion Manipur Children's Home in 2006. With the current capacity of 50 children which are nurtured each year they have successfully graduated around 300 children across these 16 years into successful lives. Many are now married and have their own family as well which happen to be their success stories of their lives. Besides this they have 5 children (4 daughters and 1 son) of whom are all married and well settled. Managing service to society and family is one of the biggest challenges they overcame across these years.
